Columbia Records Convention (1966)

Sahara Hotel
Las Vegas, Nevada

July 21, 1966
On the final night of the yearly Columbia Records sales convention, Columbia's president, Goddard Lieberson, appeared on stage after Tony Bennett sang for the employees and guests of the record label. Lieberson introduced the next performer—not by name, but by catalog number: CS 9278, Color Me Barbra.

Barbra Streisand walked on stage and sang a few numbers from the album.

(Note: Barbra Archives has not come across which songs she actually sang at this convention ... yet.)
