Columbia Records repackaged and re-cut Barbra: The Concert — the 1994 two-CD set — into a single-CD release and called it Barbra Streisand: The Concert— Highlights . 


Most of Streisand's patter was edited out, and the songs were blended seamlessly using the audience applause as a bridge. 


There are no new tracks on this CD; all tracks were previously released on #C2K 66109.

Barbra Streisand's 1994 New York concerts were recorded for CD, but were not videotaped for television.  However, Barbra's 1994 Anaheim show was an HBO concert special (bottom left, below); and Barbra's 1993-1994 New Years Eve show at the MGM Grand was also released on DVD (below). Two of Streisand's other concert tours were recorded as television specials, too — Timeless (2000) and Live 2006.
