LONDON CONCERT NOTES
  • July 18th: During “Music of the Night” Barbra acknowledged Andrew Lloyd Webber, who was in the audience that evening.
  • July 18th: Barbra dedicated her encore, “I‘ve Dreamed of You” to her husband Jim Brolin – it was his birthday.
  • July 18th: More opening night celebs:  Joan Collins, Richard E. Grant
  • July 22nd: After “I Finally Found Someone,” Barbra introduced Byan Adams and he stood up and took a bow.
  • July 22nd: Near the end of the concert, Barbra said hello to Pierce Brosnan  and Donna Karan, both in the audience.
  • July 25th: Barbra dropped the “food monologue” before “Down With Love.”
  • July 25th: Barbra mentions her love for her Yentl camera operator, Peter McDonald, in the audience that evening, during “Papa, Can You Hear Me?”
  • July 25th: As this was her final show, before “My Shining Hour,” Barbra mentions people in the audience including Ralph Fiennes, Meryl Streep, Donna Karan and thanks her team for their great cooperation during the tour and her whole career.
