SAN JOSE CONCERT NOTES



  • Since it was election-eve, Jason Gould dedicated "This Masquerade" to both political parties and ended with a slight lyric change, "all in this political masquerade."
  • Roslyn Kind and Barbra augmented their duet by chatting about their late mother who always wanted to be a singer and finally made it, posthumously, as they played a recording of her singing.
  • The order of the second act gowns was reversed in San Jose. For the opening song of act two, “My Man,” Barbra wore the gray version of the usual coral-colored gown.
  • For the duet with Jason, after Chris Botti’s solos, Streisand wore the coral gown.
